Privacy Policy for Profit Path

Effective Date: August 22, 2026

Chopta Technologies ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Profit Path mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

Profit Path is designed to prioritize your privacy. The core functionality of the App operates completely offline, meaning your financial data is stored locally on your device.

Local Data Storage

All data you enter into Profit Path (including sales, expenses, product names, and dates) is stored locally in an encrypted SQLite database on your mobile device. We do not transmit, collect, or store this financial data on our own servers.

Google Sign-In and Google Drive Backups

To prevent data loss, the App offers an optional cloud backup feature.

Notifications

The App may request permission to send you local push notifications (such as daily reminders to log your sales). These notifications are scheduled locally on your device and do not involve tracking by our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

Any information processed by Profit Path is used exclusively to provide and improve the App’s features:

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Because your financial data is stored entirely on your device and your personal Google Drive, Chopta Technologies does not possess your data and therefore cannot disclose it to any third parties, including law enforcement or advertising networks.

4. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, remember that no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
